About the Conference
International scientific and practical conference "Mendeleev Readings. Chemical processes in the Earth's interior" is held in order to develop international scientific and technical cooperation and exchange best practices in studying the peculiarities of geochemical processes in oil and gas basins, the influence of fluid dynamic and epigenetic processes on the formation of oil and gas fields at great depths.

Within the framework of the round table, topical issues of the formation and preservation of oil and gas accumulations at great depths will be discussed, including: patterns of distribution of industrial accumulations of hydrocarbons at great depths; processes of oil formation at great depths and temperatures; conditions for the formation of hydrocarbons in “hard” thermodynamic conditions; geophysical methods of searching for accumulations of hydrocarbons at great depths; the influence of thermodynamic conditions on the composition of oil; oil and gas source rocks - features of great depths.

Terms of participation
To participate in the Conference, it is necessary to fill out an application form in accordance with the established deadlines.
The conference will be held in the mixed format. A connection link will be sent to all participants who have applied for remote participation to the specified email addresses.
The Organizing Committee assumes all costs associated with the organization of the conference program. Travel and accommodation expenses are covered by the participants.
The Mining University provides preferential rates for accommodation at the MFC "Gorny" hotel for all participants of the conference.

Atlantes
The gallery of the main entrance to the Hermitage is designed in the form of a portico, which is decorated with giant figures of Atlantes. In 1844, with the participation of 150 stonemasons, sculptor A.I. Terebenev presented to the world 10 magnificent statues that symbolize the struggle against earth's gravity. The statues became a symbol of the city.

Lion bridge
This is one of the first and most beautiful suspension bridges in the city. The crossing over the Griboyedov Canal was designed by engineers V. Tretter and V. Khristianovich. The bridge was opened in July 1826, and on the first day it was visited by about 3,000 citizens. Chains, by means of which the bridge is held up, were hidden in sculptures of lions.

Rostral Columns
They are located on the Spit of Vasilyevsky Island. In the 19th century, they served as lanterns for the port of the northern capital. They were erected in 1810 according to the design of the French architect Thomas de Thomon, who decorated them with the rostra of ships.

Bronze Horseman
Monument to Peter the Great on Senate Square. The monument was later named The Bronze Horseman thanks to the poem of the same name by Alexander Pushkin. Its opening took place on August 7 (18), 1782, the sculptor is Etienne Falconet. The head of the statue was sculpted by his pupil Marie Anne Collot.

St. Nicolas Naval Cathedral
Cathedral is located on the shore of the Kryukov Canal. It is a magnificent monument of the 18th century in the Baroque style. In the lower church is the cathedral's main holy place - a Greek icon of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker of the 17th century with a part of his relics.

Smolny Cathedral
The Smolny Monastery complex is a true masterpiece of Russian baroque. The famous architect Quarenghi, passing by it, always took off his hat as a sign of homage to Rastrelli's genius. But Rastrelli only had time to bring the building up to the roof. For a long time the cathedral stood unfinished and was only finished in the 1830s by Vassily Stasov.
Venue – Mining University
The Mining University is the first higher technical educational institution in Russia founded by the Edict of Empress Catherine II on October 21 (November 1), 1773 as an embodiment of the ideas of Peter the Great and M.V. Lomonosov on training of engineering personnel for the development of mining industry. This date became the birthday of the entire higher technical education in Russia.
At present more than 10 thousand students study at the Mining University in the field of mining, oil and gas, geology, metallurgy, industrial and civil engineering, mechanical engineering, energy engineering, industrial economics, industrial safety, geoecology. Over 60 directions of training of bachelors, masters and specialists (engineers) are available. Over 180 doctors of sciences and professors, about 600 candidates of sciences and associate professors, about 120 academicians and corresponding members of various international and Russian academies work in 49 departments and branches of the university.
The Mining Museum is the keeper of unique collections with more than 250,000 exhibits collected from all continents and more than 80 countries; it is one of the three best museums in the world in the field of natural sciences. The university has the richest scientific and technical library, which has more than 1.2 million books and magazines and rarities of the XV-XIX centuries. Modern material and technical base and developed infrastructure allow the University to hold international events at the highest level with the participation of heads of industries and major domestic and foreign companies.

Staircase of Training Center #1
The complex of buildings and structures of Mining University Training Center №1 is an architectural monument of the 19th century, the immortal creation of architects A.N. Voronikhin and A.I. Postnikov, sculptors V.I. Demut-Malinovsky and S.S. Pimenov.

Mining museum
The Mining Museum is the keeper of a rare collection of minerals, ores, rocks, paleontological rarities, collections of models, models of the history of mining and mining technology, cold steel arms, articles of stone-cutting and jewelry art.

Mining & Metallurgy Hall
Models, prototypes, and replicas of mining machinery and equipment were first brought to the museum in the 18th century, during the reign of Catherine II. Today, by its scale, historical value, and quality of exhibits, it is unrivalled anywhere in the world.
